"Aquaman", the upcoming DC movie directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa as the eponymous superhero, has released a batch of new character posters. The seven posters reveal both the good guy side and the villainous side of the underwater world. Before "Aquaman" surfaces on the big screen this December, let's scroll through the gallery below and get ourselves familiarised with the characters that will be appearing in the movie.


Jason Momoa leads "Aquaman" as Arthur Curry a.k.a. the titular superhero, born on land but is destined
to rule an undersea empire.

Nicole Kidman plays Queen Atlanna, the mother of Aquaman and King Orm.

Amber Heard stars as Aquaman's love interest Mera, King Nereus' daughter whom Queen Atlanna
raised and groomed to become queen.
