Lady Gaga steps out as Harley Quinn

27 Mar – A new photo of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn has got fans jumping with joy.

The singer was recently photographed filming the Todd Phillips movie, "Joker: Folie à Deux" in New York City, showing up in a costume that has more resemblance to the '90s "Batman: The Animated Series" rather than Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

In the photos, Lady Gaga can be seen escorted by Gotham police officers, with protesters filling the area, holding signs like "Free Joker" and "Joker Marry Me".

Phillips previously shared a photo of Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn with Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, captioning the photo, "Happy Valentine's Day".

Filming began back in December, three years following the success of the first "Joker" movie.

It is noted that the movie, just like Matt Reeves' "The Batman", exists outside of James Gunn and Peter Safran's shared universe. It is slated for an October 2024 release.
