The Good, the Bad and the Riot:

• The movie is great if you're a white man/family, not so great if you're Asian; doesn't take much to derive who will win and who gets portrayed as merciless savages.

• However, the Asians in the movie aren't all portrayed as baddies or xenophobic as some do help the family with no intent to be involved in the bloodshed.

• The action scenes may leave audience exhausted but in a good way. The movie also manages to strike fear in the audiences' hearts with its intense pacing.

• Pierce Brosnan, Owen Wilson and Lake Bell give a good performance in the movie.

Trivia:

• The movie is banned in Cambodia as it is deemed insensitive to Cambodian culture, for example the usage of upside down Khmer words on the shields during the riot.
